MALAYSIA 1973
These pictures are from a trip my wife and I made some forty years ago to visit my wjfe's cousin and her family.
In and around Kuala Lumpur and on trips to the East and West coasts. In the towns and villages along the roads we traveled.
It was the first time that we had been in the far East and we were enthralled. As a result of It’s colonial history Malaysia has at least three ethnic groupings each with its own customs and rituals. The native Malay population of course and long established Chinese and Tamil communities. This is reflected in the pictures. We have not been back since, I suspect that it is a much changed country and the one I photographed would now be hard to find
